Homemade Strawberry Chia Jam Recipe

Wash and hull 2 cups of fresh strawberries.

Chop the strawberries into small pieces and place them in a saucepan.

Mash the strawberries using a fork or potato masher to release their juices.

Add 2 tablespoons of chia seeds to the mashed strawberries.

Stir in 2-3 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup, depending on your desired sweetness.

Cook the mixture over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Once the mixture thickens and the strawberries break down further, remove it from heat.

Let the jam cool for a few minutes before transferring it to a clean jar or container.

Allow the jam to cool completely before sealing the jar and storing it in the refrigerator.

Enjoy your homemade strawberry chia jam on toast, yogurt, or as a topping for desserts!
